Do You Love Me?

This Bible reading is one of my favorites, I’ve preached this section several times. As I ponder this section again, there are so many new insights, every word of God can be seen in many different aspects. We can see the richness of this passage even though you have read this passage many times. God reveals His call to His disciples, and also affirms His care and love. In the context of this reading, Jesus specifically speaks to Peter – who is the representative of His disciples – to purify and send Peter to be the shepherd of Christ’s sheep. From this commission, Peter and the other disciples, who were so humble, became the leaders of the early Church.
